RA8000 to MA8000 conversion help...
I am looking for some information on the parts needed and procedure to upgrade a RA8000 FC array to a MA8000 array.. We have purchased the needed M2200 and (3) 4354 disk shelf options and the "cache bulkhead upgrades".. How does one reuse the 2 cache battery elements in the new MA8000 configuration ( do they remain as a cabled to the cache module config of "some how" become converted to fit the M2200 controller shelf ?

The MA8000 doesn't remain the calbe to cache module.
You need only to plug cache module to M2200.
