RAID Configuration

Hi there
How we can check which RAID configuration is installed in which drive and how much space is occupied for the same.

Hi Mehul,

Do the following command and check how many physical volumes (PV) (this informations is at the end, under --- Physical volumes ---) you have for each volume groups (VG):

#vgdisplay -v vg00
#vgdisplay -v vg01
...

Hi

You can use the vgdisplay command to check the number of Physical volumes are connected

syntax would e vgdisplay -v vgxx

You can verify the RAID level for VA using the Command View SDM software that is installed on your host machine. These are the steps you need to follow:

1. Start the GUI using the /commandview/client/sbin/cmdviewva :

2. Go to Configurations--> General Settings. The subsequent screen displays the current RAID level. The field name is
'Subsystem Level RAID Control:'

You can check how many driver and how much space by using command: vgdisplay
