RAID migration under Suse 9, and Extending Partitions.

Hi everyone. I'd like to say that these forums have been a huge help over the last week with my project. I'm moving from a Raid 1 to Raid 5 array in increase space for our mail partition under SUSE 9.0

Here's what we had.
2x300GB in RAID 1
symqdp01:/opt/hp/hpsmh/sbin # df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2 5.0G 1.5G 3.3G 32% /
tmpfs 1002M 8.0K 1002M 1% /dev/shm
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 99M 6.4M 88M 7% /boot
/dev/mapper/system-mail
259G 228G 18G 93% /mail
/dev/mapper/system-opt
5.0G 1.1G 3.7G 22% /opt
/dev/mapper/system-var
5.0G 151M 4.6G 4% /var

And we want to add two more 300GB to the array.

I was able to physically add them, and then assign them to the array (Array A)
We then extended the array to encompas all 4 drives and then convert to Raid 5.
That's where we are now. I belive that my next step is to extend the size of the array as it's currently only 300Gb.

My question is if I can do this under SUSE as I've seen a bunch of warning messages...?
Once I extend the array, I can only assume that I'll have to make the partitions larger under Linux using fdisk or gpartd..?
