RS/12 FC config lost
hi
I have a cluster with a rs12 f/c and a rs/12 cascaded on NT4.
the config of the FC was corrupted, i want to reconfigure the fc config throught the FC array assistant without loosing the data present on the storages, i can found all the data to reconfigure, but when I do apply the FCArray assistant tell ne that this operation will be destructive for the config and data.
(I thing that a initialization will occur automaticaly after this confirmation)
does somebody know how can I reconfigure th rs/12 without loosing the data?

Re: RS/12 FC config lost
Hi,
There's no way to configure a RS12FC without initializing the disks.
If you really really don't want to loose your data and you have some spare disks, you might want to consider to create the same configuration you had before on other disks, let it initialize and after that, switch it of and put back your old disks.
Never tried it, but it might work!
Good luck,
Marco.
