RS12 FC, problems, lost configuration.
The configuration is a RS12FC with two controller cards, conected to a
HP Netserver LXr8500.
12 Disks 17 Gb
a. Raid 1 disks 1 and 2
b. Raid 1 disks 3 and 4
c. Raid 01 disks 5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12
After a power failure in a power suply, the FcArrayAssistant assistant
showed raid a, b and c corrupted.
Disk 2,3,8 and 9 apperared as new disks, with no green, red cross, or
any other symbol in the FCDiskArray.
The only posiblity that appeared in these disks was to place the as hot-
spare.
I did it, then I did put the offline, then rebuild, and it did work.
For the raid c, I did the same with one drive, and put hot-spare,
ofline and online with the other.
The system did recover, but why has this happened??? Is there anything
reported abut this kind of problem????
Thanks,
Andres.

Re: RS12 FC, problems, lost configuration.
hi
difficult to identifie the cause but, check last fw version of rs12fc, check for power supply and cable, be sure grounding is ok, and that the voltage is good on the input connector of the storage.
