Raid mode in VA7x00.....
Hello ..
Understand even if English is unskillful.
Is using VA7100 by Raid1.
Can change to Raid5 during use ???

There are only two modes VA can operate: RAID 0/1 and AutoRAID. It is allowed to migrate from RAID 0/1 to AutoRAID online, although to migrate back from AutoRAID to RAID 0/1 backup, VA reformat and restore are needed.
In RAID 0/1 data allocation is really RAID 0/1, but in AutoRAID mode VA manages data allocation and migration between RAID 5DP and RAID 0/1 basing on data usage. AutoRAID mode is more space-wise mode, allowing more data protection (DP=dual parity), but sometimes a little slower than RAID 0/1 mode.
Please make sure that your VA has at least HP16 firmware. Better latest: HP18. If not - call your local HP office for upgrade
