Rebuilding RAID 1+0 array - Waiting for rebuild
After replacing a failed drive, I keep getting the "waiting for rebuild" message in the ACU on the new drive. I have already contacted support who has sent me another drive and asked me to update my firmware. I have replaced the new drive with the newer one, updated the firmware, and after the system states it is rebuilding, I get the "waiting for rebuild" message. Now, support wants to replace the backplane. Why won't it complete the rebuild? Attached is the ADU report. Any help?

Re: Rebuilding RAID 1+0 array - Waiting for rebuild
How about splitting and rebuilding the mirror?
here it is:

Make a backup, first.
Hope this helps.

Re: Rebuilding RAID 1+0 array - Waiting for rebuild
I am wondering whether HP has move their support overseas now. The answers we hear here sound too much like they are read off a sheet.
My answer would be that it sounds as if the controller is having problems with the data. I would do as discribed above. Break the mirror, backup the logical drive or drives, rebuild the RIAD and restore the data.
