Reconfigure RAID0 virtual
We have a virtual disk configured as RAID 0 and I would like to reconfigure it as RAID 5 but we have only one spare disk slot and 4 hot spare disks.
As we don't have enough disk space I am thinking to use 4 300GB disks and use 3 hot spare disks plus the empty slot on the array to configure the new RAID5 and then copy the current virtual disk to the new created virtual disks.
This will leave the Array with only one spare disk for few days.
I would be appreciate if anyone could please advice me or give me some tips.
The array is HSG80 and the server is w2k3.
Thanks
Mohammad
