Replacement for Storage Manager Software
I have an old MLProliant 110 G3 non-hot swap which came with a 6 channel Adaptec RAID card and HP storage Manager software. I am installing a new ML150 G6 with two hot swap arrays and can't seem to find the equivalent to the HP storage manager software.
Obviously I'm not looking in the right place.
The OS is Windows 2008 pre installed by HP.
Any comments or thougts would be appreciated,
Thanks, Gary

Re: Replacement for Storage Manager Software
Assuming you have some tyoe of Smart Array Storage Controller, you should probably be looking for the HP Array Configuration Utility.
Start --> HP System Tools --> Hp Array Configuration Utility --> HP Array Configuration Utility

Re: Replacement for Storage Manager Software
You'd think so wouldn't you.
It turns out that even though the G6 was delivered from HP directly 2 weeks ago, the p410 firmware wasn't supported by the ACU software >grimace< and the ACU software was a year old.
So after talking to a smart support lady in Costa Rica she figured out what the problems were - old stuff - and directed me to the correct links and now I have a working ACU.
Too bad it took two weeks for me to find her.
Now that it's updated, I have what I was expecting. On to the next challenge.
Thanks for your reply,
Gary
