We have EVA8100 with CV 8.0 and RSM 4.0( both installed on the same Server), with Unlimited Licenses CV and Business Copy. I have successfully configured Hosts (all HP-UX). But i am unable to view the vdisks. It appears the RSM is unable to communicate the SMA as it says connection as BAD. Actually when i installed CV8.0 IP address we used was temp and i changed the IP address. Now, i have re-installed RSM, but not CV. If i uninstall CV , what will happen to licenses installed on them, or i can export and import them.
Please assist on this.

Re: Replication Solution Manager
Fill the correct IP address, user and password
Command View, Bussiness copy and continous access licenses are stored on the EVA. Even if you format the server where Command View is, nothing is lost.

Re: Replication Solution Manager
Thank you very much for the help. It was the user id/password mismatch between CV and RSM.
It works now perfectly. Checking with business copies.
