Replication between XP12000 and Hitachi USP V (similar to XP20000)

Hello,

Is it posible to replicate with CA XP between a XP12000 and Hitachi USP V (model similar to XP20000)?

This is only a temporary use to migrate some servers to a new datacenter.

I've never been able to try it, but I was told NO by both HDS and HP when I inquired a couple years ago.

They both use the same HORCM configuration and setup, from what I've seen. If you try it out, please let me know the results.

Another alternative is you could get "goofy", and present some disks from the USP V to the XP12000, get a short term license for External Storage on the XP, and then use Business Copy from the source XP volume to the external storage volume.
