SAP in FATA disks
Hi,
we are planning to expand our EVA4100 with 1TB FATA disks. I just want to confirm the following:
1. what is the difference b/w FC and FATA in terms of speed?
2. are there any impacts using FATA for SAP R/3 and SAP BI applications? are there companies using FATA for SAP?
Thanks
Ed

Re: SAP in FATA disks
FATA disks are intended for low I/O and only 8 hours of work a day. Do not use them for transactional databases.
