Hi
I have and array with four disk drives sas dual port 15000 rpm configured in raid5. I have a failed disk in this array . Can I replace the failed disk with a sas single port 10000rpm disk drive?
The machine is and integrity server running HPUX.
Regards
W.S

Solution
Hello William,
this shouldn't be a problem, but the 10k drive will slow down the whole array. So I wouldn't recommend this solution, until there is no other way to replace the drive.
Best regards,
Patrick
