SCSI Hard Drive reformat

We have a few HP Proliant ML370 G2's and Proliant ML350 G3's that we have decomissioned and I would like to reuse the SCSI hard drives in them. How do I reformat them so I can use them for replacements to the servers we still have that use the same hard drives or just to rebuild a server? They are 36.4 GB 15k Ultra3 SCSI and 72.8 GB 15k ultra320 SCSI. Please let me know if you need additional info.

Regards,
DJ

Re: SCSI Hard Drive reformat

If you hot-plug one of those drives on a server to replace a faulty one, the controller will erase it and take it as a new one.
If you want to use them to create a new array, clear the configuration on them while they are on the old server. Just enter Smart Array menus and select clear configuration.
