SQL issues on drive using 200GB SSD's on HP StorageWorks D2700 disk array

Hello all,

i'm trying to reslove an issue regarding a server hosting several sql instances constanly crashing by what looks like issues on a particular drive (as seen in sql logs).  The drive in question is made up of 4 200GB SSD's on a HP StorageWorks D2700 disk array. The array also contains a number of 300GB SAS disks and 800GB SSD's. I have had a look at the ACU and cannot see anything out of the ordinary, the disks all looks fine. Same goes for event viewer. However when i physically look at the disks, the other disks all have flashing green LED, but the 4 200GB SSD's have a solid green LED.  I've attached a screenshot of the ACU and the only alert contained in the Status alerts. Could anyone shed any light?

Hey,

please gather an diagnostics report from ACU and attach it here.

Maybe in that one one can find more details about what might be wrong.

Sometimes the IML log on the server can tell more about what happened.

I'd check out the firmwares released since the one you have installed (primarily on the SAS controller but also for the disks) to look for potential issues they have fixed.
