STORAGE P2000G3 - Performance Problems and Not Balancing
Hi,
Actually I have a Storage P2000G3 FC, 2 SAN Switches 8/24 and 2 VC SAN 8/20, I the Virtual Connect I make a 2 Fabrics (fabric03 and fabric04), fabric03 have the 4 FC ports of the VC Bay 03 and fabric04 the 4 FC ports of the VC Bay04.
Each SAN Switches 8/24 have 6 fc cables, 4 from the VC and 2 from of each one of the Storage P2000 Controllers, In each SAN Switch 8/24 I have a one zone with a WWN of the Blade and the 2 ports of the Storage P2000.
My first question is: This configuration is correct???.. Because the fabrics in VC have a manual login redistribution and when I disconnect one or many fc cable I have a bad performance in some case the connection to the LUN is lost.
The second question is who make the Login distribution in Dynamic.
The Firmware of the SAN Switches is 7.0.1 and the VC 3.51.
Any ideas???.
Greetings,
Chris Chamba

Re: STORAGE P2000G3 - Performance Problems and Not Balancing
Hi,
" In each SAN Switch 8/24 I have a one zone with a WWN of the Blade and the 2 ports of the Storage P2000."
You want to do either WWN or DID,PID zoning, not a combination.
