Hi,
I have two node MC/Service Guard cluster on HPUX 11.00 system with central FC60 Storage. I would like to install secure path.
I do appreciate if i can get some response on following questions -
1. Which version of Secure path will be supported on FC60?
2. Any practical precaution to be taken prior to install/configure?
Thanks & regards
NAVID

Re: Secure Path & FC 60
Hello Navid,
I have not heard about SP or AP for FC60.
I think the product was already absolete before both multipath products existed.
Regards,
Arend

Solution
Secure Path can be found at
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/secure-path/index.html
Check out the Overview, FAQ, Technical specs, etc.
As far as which arrays are supported look at the Worldwide specifications (html/pdf) or the North America specifications (html/pdf) at
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/secure-path/specifications.html
I quickly checked the NA specs and did not see the F60 listed.

Re: Secure Path & FC 60
As I mentioned in another posting, use PVlinks. It is free and will do the job of HBA failover for the FC60, and you can do static load balancing, but that isn't likely to be the bottleneck for the FC60. Best performance with the FC60 is if you have all six SCSI enclosures, and spreadout the drives so that the SCSI buses/controllers don't get hot spots.
