Secure path EVA8400 problem path
EVa3000 Active / Passive
3028 firmware

EVA 8400
09,522,000 firmware.
The system is HPUX and use secure path a30f02f version I submitted one of the HBAs to the EVA, and you should see 4 paths but rescanear only see 3.
Does anyone can throw me a hand?

I believe you've add the HBA to EVA8K
The possible reasons could be.
In EVA 8K you have 4 ports on each Controller.
Check if all the ports connected properly.
Check if in SAN Switch zone all the ports added
You might have missed one of the ports in the switch zone

Right now the server should see 4 paths per disc, two of each controller, but not because he sees 3.

Check if the switch does see all paths to the EVA.

The zonning is made to the HBA that is connected to the EVA8400 see 4 ports. the zonning this proven and HPUX rx6600 server only sees 3 ways instead of 4.
