Serial numbers printed on part and in cli differs
Hello,
Working with P2000 G3 MSA storage.
I noticed that S/Ns which are printed on disks are different than in storage web interface and CLI.
For example:
on disk printed S/N is 2C5347K3BS, but on the system's web interface and CLI (show disks) it is identified as S0N0RGM20000B4159S1H.
In Warranty Check that long S/N is not recognized, only the printed one.
The question is how to see those printed S/Ns on CLI or web interface? Can it be somehow converted?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Disk to Disk arrays. -HP Forum Moderator
