Setting the host mode and host group for VMware client in XP1024
Hi,
Could someone help me how to configure VMware client with XP1024. which host mode should be used for VMware client?

!!Check with your HP account guys. The XP1024 is old so things may have changed in ucode etc.
However, Im pretty sure it used to be that you set the Host Group to Netware and had your engineer set HMO 19 from the SVP to help it work better with SCSI 2 reserves and timeouts.......
!!Again, check with your HP rep as they should have the last info in this.
I reserve the right to be horrendously out of date with this, but the XP1024 is very old kit now.

Host Mode Netware and Option 19 should do the trick for you.
On the USP-V (XP24000) there is now a VMware host mode.
