Smart-2/P Expansion/Extension

I have a Smart-2/P with 5 - 9 GB drives, RAID 5 and 2 Logical drives of 17 GB made into 1 NT Volume Set of 34 GB. ( Not sure why it is this way instead of 1 logical drive of 34 GB but thats the way I found it. )

I need to add disk space and increase the 34 GB Volume Set. What are my options? Thanks!

I think I answered part of my own question. I'm guessing that at sometime in the past someone needed to expand the array and they added 2 drives and created a new logical drive and then created a Volume Set in Disk Administrator by combining the the two 17GB logical drives. Is this the only option available with the Smart-2/P and can I do this again on the same array?

yes with the smart 2p this is the only way there is no logical drive extention for this controller email orionquest@hotmail.com for directions on adding drive space with the header 2p drive expansion. NOTE: in word format
