Where can I find installation instructions for the Smart Array 5302 specific to the Proliant 3000? When installing the 5302/64 ins a Proliant 3000, which slots should be used? Are there any other considerations unique to this hardware combination?

There are a few versions of the PL3000, what speed processor is your server?
The SA5302 is a 66MHz 64bit card, so you would want to install this in a 66MHz PCI slot.

Solution
Well... the 5300 series controller is a 64bit card so your best bet is to install it in PCI Slot 4 or 5.
