Hi,
We have a Proliant ML350, and wish to add space. It currently has RAID5 on 3 drives, controller is a Smart Array 532. We do not want to change this array.
Is it possible to create a second array by installing 2 disks as a RAID1 on the same controller? I have donwe this on newer controllers, and would like to know if the 532 is capable of this.
ACU version 6.0.5.0

Hello Sean,
Afaik,it can be done.
Its recommended to upgrade the ROM's and PSP.
Provide the server generation(G1 or G2) and the OS,will post the links for download.
1.Plug in the 2 new disks.
2.From within OS(i suppose its MS Windows), launch ACU.
3.Create a new array with these 2 disks and select the raid level 1.
4.Once done create a new logical volume.
