Smart Array 641
Hi there,
we have just got a couple of new ML370's, which came with the SA641 controller cards.
At first one of them worked okay, until someone tried to add another SA card (a 531) to it.
Now with boot up we get the following error:
----------------------
Array controller is in a lock-up state due to hardware configuration failure. The controller is disabled until this problem is resolved
------------------------
Tried to look for info on the web, however without results.
Can anyone help me with this.
Your help much appreciated
Fred

Re: Smart Array 641
Hi there,
have done some further testing on the card, swapped it with a working one, as well as put it in a different ML370, and it proved that it was a hardware fault on the card itself.
Sorry to have bothered you
