Smart Array P400/512 Multiple Array Support?

One of the Proliant DL580-G4 configurations comes packaged with a Smart Array P400/512 controller. I was hoping to spec a mirrored set of drives (with spare) for the O.S. boot, plus a RAID5 set (with its own spare) for the data volume.

Does this Array controller support a multi-array configuration such as this?

I know the controller has 8 SAS ports but I have yet to build a server with this particular Array card, and was unsure of the particulars on its RAID configurations.

No issues with that - you can have multiple arrays on a single SA-P400.
