Smart Array - rx6600 - array not resync
Hi,
rx6600
HP-UX 11.31
one array is ok
other array - 2 disks - raid 1 - 140 Gb
The driver in the O.S. is march 2010
One disk crash, when i insert the new disk, the array don´t sync auto, and put the new disk as stand alone.

The disk to resync: /dev/rdsk/c8t1d0 (bay 5), mirror disk, but not resync.

First I would try with these steps:
If this doesn't work, I would consider to add the new drive as a hot spare.
If you are in doubt, consider to ask HP for help.

I solved.
Go to EFI
Example:
drvcfg -s 29 2C
Go to the missind disk array
add hot spare disk to array
option sync disks
Wait
after i remove the hot spare and the array resync disks.
need a reboot
