Status Message - Stat:# 785
What does this msg mean? Is the array still redundant?, it has been nearly 24hrs displaying this msg and i performed a reboot overnight... how long should the parity initialization take??
"Stat:# 785 Background parity initialization is currently queued or in progress on logical drive 2 ( RAID 5 in array B). If background parity initialization is queued, it will start when I/O is performed on the drive. When background parity initialization completes, the performance of the logical drive will improve."

Re: Status Message - Stat:# 785
Hi Shane,
Have a look at this customer advisory, it explains the Background parity initialization message
