Strange behaviour of VMS Cluster connected to EVA

Hi all,

we have the following situation:
EVA3000 (2C4D) with some VMware servers and 2 OpenVMS clusters connected. The cluster lock disks for the 2 clusters are located on 2 different disk groups on the EVA.
When I was adding disks to the EVA, everytime I added a disk the 2 clusters reported a connection loss to the cluster lock disk (without the error counter going up).
Later we discovered that this is connected to the error lights turning on, as the same error occured when using the locate function of any disk in the array.

Do you have any explanation for this strange behaviour? I alsways thought that there was absolutely no connection between the servers and the physical drives.

Thanks

Christian
