System board replaces and RAID position
One of our Server which built-in RAID controller and RAID configuration is
RAID 1 for OS and RAID 5 for Data.
Unfortunately system board become faulty, that’s why we need to replace
the system board.
I need to know after replacing the system board, RAID configuration is working as before?

Re: System board replaces and RAID position
The RAID configuration is stored on the first sector of each disk (RIS). You can replace the SmartArray controller o move the disks to another server and the controller will load the configuration from the disks.
