Testing of multipath I/O for Windows 2003 Enterprise Server.
Hi all,
Just to check with all u gurus out there. Is there any ways that I can do a test for the MSA 500 HA Kit with multipath I/O?
Can I just test the redundancy of the HBAs by pulling out the SCSI cables that are connected to the cluster server or MSA 500 storage box (when the equipments are still online)?
If I do that, will there be an implication to my cluster setup?
Appreciate very much for your reply.

You can disable SCSI HBA via Device Managment, it is more safely than pulling out SCSI cables

If the setup is OK, there will be a switchover to the other node if the disks are not availalbe anymore

If I pull out the SCSI cable when the equipments are still online, will I experience the lost of the cluster resources?
