The problem on hp9000 D270 & EMC symmetrix
I meet a problem on CU site.
host: hp9000 D270
OS: HPUX 11.0
disk array: EMC symmetix.
In the syslog I find that error msg. as below:

but the data on disk array is still accessible.
I have also attached the syslog in the attached.

Could it be that you have 2 links to this array ? That would explain why you can still access the data ... you've only lost 1 link. You should be able to verify this by doing an vgdisplay -v of the volumegroups on the array.
From your syslog ...
I would check the connection to the FA15aB port on your symmetrix. It could be the HBA (in the Unix), the fibre, ... or any other component (port on accesshub, port on switch, port on director) you've got inbetween.

But i want to know the meaning of "killing" ? Is this action issued by OS or adminstrator?

Correct me everyone (you always do!), but I'm pretty sure that's EMC's Power Path product, and what it's doing is disabling that path to the array because it got an error on a LUN on that path.
