Trying to add additional XP into CVAE - KAIC05601IE error

Hi,
I am trying to add an additional XP24K to our CVAE server to support a remote XP. When I try this I get an error code KAIC05601-E with description
"The RMI connection to "xxx.xx.xx.xxx" has failed. Check whether the specified storage subsystem type and IP address are correct, as well as the network status
I can logon to the arrays ok using RWC so I know the networking is ok.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
