Unable to create vDisk in RAID10 with 9 sub-disks on MSA2324sa?!

We have MSA2324sa with 19 2,5" SAS disks.
I want to create 1 vdsik with 3 volumes for 3 blade servers, and create 1 spare disk for all volumes.
But I am unable to create vDisk in RAID10 with 9 sub-disks, it can be max 8 sub-disks. Why?
Is there any other way to create one spare disk for all volumes?
Thanks

9 subdisks = 18 physical disks.

The MSA2000 can't create create RAID on more than 16 disks.

Except RAID 50, then it can use 32 disks.

Do you want to create a RAID 10, using 8 physical disks + 1 spare?
Then you must choose 4 subdisks.
