Unable to upgrdae firmware of HP Smart Raid Controller

Hi,

I am upgrading HP smart Array controller firmware from 2.08 & upgraded with Firmware (Patch 10064-02) iso file & 9.3 from HP site but didn't work out. __________________

Also I am using Redhat 5.7 server. I tried with the above two & after loading from iso image, still the same firmware version as 2.08

Well, do you have a Lefthand P4000?

This patch upgrades the P400 RAID Controller firmware to version 7.08 from any firmware version less than 7.08. It does not update firmware if it is already at version 7.08. Applies to SAN/iQ 8.0 and 8.1

Do you run these versions?

Otherwise consider to boot SPP in order to upgrade offline.
