Re: Unpresent iscsi host access to vdisk
I managed to log inn via mpx manager and the software version is 2.0.9.0.
The customer got one mpx100 (I was onsite and checked)
But I do not have the password to log in via a telnet session.
In the mpx manager I can remove initiator.
Would that be a way to do it and then later be able to delete the vdisks assigned to this server? (3 servers have access to 11 luns).
Or should I downgrade the command view to fit the sw version on the mpx?

Re: Unpresent iscsi host access to vdisk
hi,
you could probably do that in this instance, but why not upgrade the firmware in the mpx ?

Re: Unpresent iscsi host access to vdisk
Is this something I can do online?
(there are live hostsconnected to the EVA)
I see that there is a fw update wizards in the gui.
And what about other components connected to the mpx100. Do they need upgrades as well?

Re: Unpresent iscsi host access to vdisk
hi,
the firmware upgrade on the mpx100 requires a reboot of the mpx100 so it would disrupt iscsi traffic. cv 7 + 6 work with that level of firmware in the mpx, see here for eva firmware requirements :-
