Upgrading CV EVA 4.1.0.20 to CV 7.0.1

i want to upgrade the command View EVA from 4.1.0.20 to 7.0.1
could someone help by a document that explains what should be done

Hi,

It's usually a case of just inserting the relevant CDs, and letting the installer do its thing.

You might have to go through the major versions though. So upgrade to 5, then 6 etc.

You should also ensure that you have the relevant licenses in order to get version 7 to work... Prior to this version, the licenses weren't enforced, so its very possible to have increased the capacity on your EVA and not purchased the relevant LTUs.
