VA7100 DRIVER

I will soon be adding a VA7100 to an Nclass running 11.0. Can someone tell me what driver I will need for this device?

Re: VA7100 DRIVER

You don't need any other driver. After you've created a LUN on the VA, just do an 'ioscan -fnC disk' and an 'insf -e' if the device file wasn't created yet . Afterwards you can configure the LUN just as you would do with a local disk.

Re: VA7100 DRIVER

Hi,

you don't need any driver to add VA7100 to the system. AS suggested by Kurt, once you have created the Luns and connected the disk array to the system, you should be able to see the luns in the ioscan output once the device files are created.

For more info on VA7100, try this link,

Hope this helps.
