VA7100 and scsi queue_depth on hpux
Any suggestions on what would offer better performance from a VA7100... more/smaller LUNs with a default hpux scsi queue_depth = 8, or fewer/larger LUNs with a larger queue_depth?Thanks for any feedback and recommendations!-denver

Re: VA7100 and scsi queue_depth on hpux
I'd also add that the LUN count or size has no effect on the native performance of the VA. A 7100 can demonstrate maximum performance with a single LUN. Howerver, as the HPUX default queue depth paper indicates, for HPUX and a single LUN, you must have sufficient queue depth.
