VA7100 connected to Tru64
Has anyone tried to connect a VA7100 to a Tru64 system? Any special issues?
The informations on hp web site are contradictory: some docs claim that it is a supported OS, other that is not.
I mention that I have CVSDM installed on HP-UX hosts so I only need connectivity.

Re: VA7100 connected to Tru64
If Tru64 system will be connected/zoned to separate VA controller then you can set default behavior of that controller to Tru64
armmgr -B Tru64 ...
see armmgr help.
If you have another OS servers accessing VA through this controller then you need to set up host behavior table (it's global table for both VA controllers). Please see armhost command help (man pages on hpux machine)

Re: VA7100 connected to Tru64
Thank you very much for your answer.
Therefore, I understand you are using VA7100 with Tru64 & zoning. I knew about armhost because I've used VA7100 with different OSes in the past.
One more thing: Did you try to connect nodes in TruCluster to VA7100?
I did not see any reason not to work (if works with single host) but a guy from HP support told me that it is trickier than a single host and added that it's even possible to encounter problems.
Thank you in advance,
Virgil.
