VA7100

I have L2000 with 1 A6795A HBA connected to VA7100.
Can I add a new A6795A HBA to L2000 and connect to VA7100's another fiber adapter?
Can I create Trunk or redundant channel or HA?

Hi,

You can perfectly add a second HBA and connect is to you VA7100

You will see al the luns twice now.

You can extend your VG with an alternate link

vgextend /dev/vgxx /dev/dsk/cxtydz

Moreover, if you want to configure load balancing with two HBAs, you can buy a license and install the software HP SecurePath Workgroup Edition for HP-UX
