Hi,

What is the minimum numbers of drives that can be installed in this array without getting not enough disk error?

I see where it says 4 - 15 disk.Can you point me to where it shows 10 disk min please.

From what I can tell, the VA7110 can have a minimum of 4 disks.

The VA7410 has to have a minimum of 10 disks.

See page 4-113 (page 23 of the PDF file itself) of the manual referenced above.

VA7100 min 4 disks max 15
VA7110 min 4 disks max 45
VA74x0 min 10 disks max 105

The VA74xx has 2 redundancy groups, the VA71xx only 1. Each group needs a minimum of disks.
