VA7400 cache
Hello:
My VA7400 has 512 Mb of cache in both controllers. We see all the disks through the same controller so I have some doubts about if the cache of the other controller is being used. Armperf shows that 45056 kb are allocated to read and 180224 kb are allocated to write.
First question, I know there should be some overhead due to maps and things like that but in this case we will only use a 25% memory to cache IO access. Are we really using the memory of both controllers?
Second question, write cache is mirrored so which is the actual size of the mirror cache 90000Kb?
If anyone with an VA7400 with 1Gb of memory and using both controllers would post an armperf here it would be very helpful.
Regards
