VA7410 and JBOD2 connection - link is down on 2Gb/s
I experienced interesting situation.JBOD connected to VA7410 ctrl port JBOD2 cannot communicate on 2Gb/s speed. This is a new installation, no servers are connected yet.
Main encl. + 2 JBODs. No one is visible on JBOD2 port on any ctrl. Both can work OK on JBOD1 port. I tried to run 1st ctrl only, 2nd only, 3rd (new) only, different JBODs, diffrenet LCCs, replaced midplane -> result is the same. Address switches are set correctly (of course I tried to change addresses as well). It seems that link LEDs are ON after switching on until initialization of VA reaches 0A point. Then JBOD2 port connected enclosure link LED is turned off. JBOD is not visible at all.
If I change the speed with DIP switch to 1Gb/s on LCC connected to JBOD2 loop - it works! Can see everything. All disks are included and in good state.
DO you have any idea what is going on?
dsp -s shows all jbod speed 1Gb/s even for port JBOD1 which behaves correctly and runs on 2 Gb/s.
dsp -c shows speed 2Gb/s for JBOD1 and link down and not valid signal for JBOD2 port.
VA FW is A120, LCC HP05, disks HP05 (latest), cables are OK.
BTW: link LED next the port JBOD2 on VA is ON, link LED on DS2405 is OFF

Re: VA7410 and JBOD2 connection - link is down on 2Gb/s
LCC in a DS2405 is only runing at 1GB.

Re: VA7410 and JBOD2 connection - link is down on 2Gb/s
It is true for VA7400. DS2405 is set to 2 Gb/s by default. For connecting to older model VA7400 the DIP switch on LCC should be set to 1Gb/s. All LCCs are set to 2Gb/s in my case.
