My only problem is that the OS wants the drivers for the HCS VCS controllers. Any step that I might have missed or are there null drivers that I need to install?

Or you should be able to extract the files from the driver package and manually update the devices.

Re: VCS controller Drivers for Win2K3
My setup is working fine at the moment. Windows has the drivers for FC HBA. CV EVA can manage and manipulate the EVA with no problem. My problem is that windows keeps picking up the Controllers and it says "Found New Hardware".
Which CD has the software that I need to install to supress this message?

SolutionThe files should be included in the Fibre Channel adapter kits (Smart Components).
I would try this package:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?locale=en_USтМй=English+%28US%29&pnameOID=315741&prodSeriesId=315739&prodTypeId=12169&basePartNum=COL6916&locBasepartNum=co-30550-2&os=Microsoft+Windows+Server+2003&tech=Driver++Storage+Controllers+-+FC+HBA
It even includes a "SACD.inf" file, which might be sufficient for you.

For Qlogic cards (fca2214 type and similar), click here...

Grab the SCSIport driver, or grab the STORport driver for those servers you want to try "Boot from SAN".
After you download the file and run it, you will have the option to install or extract the files. Installing them should fix the problem. If it doesn't, you should be able to do a manual driver update by extracting the files from the driver package to a location on the local HDD, going into device manager and right clicking on the devices that need drivers, select update driver and point the hardware wizard to that newly created folder with the extracted drivers.
Some questions for you...
Which model EVA?
What multipath software are you using?
Make sure you update Command View EVA as well...
