Virtual Replicator License expires - what will happen?

Hi, a got a customers call today. The problem - last year he upgraded from VR 4.0 to VR 4.1 without upgrading the license. Now the temporary key will expire. What will happen? Will all presented volumes crash? Are all data crashed? Or is the management of volumes and snapshots effected only and the volumes are available?

Thanx in advance,
Torsten

Re: Virtual Replicator License expires - what will happen?

Hi Torsten,

As far as I remember you will not be able to manage the snapshots or storage pools if you are using VR 4.0 the Vdisks will stay online though. But with VR 4.1 they use a new license module called autopass, so I can not tell you if 4.1 will behave the same as 4.0
