Re: Want to creare RAID 0+1 on EVA4400
But in the Command View EVA we found only VRAID0, VRAID1, VRAID5 and VRAID6.
That made us confused. Any idea?

Re: Want to creare RAID 0+1 on EVA4400
However, the specs are likely the only source that mentioned these raid levels, but I'm only aware of vraid0, vraid1, vraid5 and depending on FW level vraid6.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

SolutionA vraid1 is always a striped mirrored disk (using all disks in a disk group), so you can compare to a RAID0+1.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Want to creare RAID 0+1 on EVA4400
As stated.. vRAID1 on the EVA is effectively RAID0+1.

Re: Want to creare RAID 0+1 on EVA4400
http://www2.openvms.org/kparris/eva_intro.ppt
(old but still valid)
or just search for something like
"eva distributed virtual raid"
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
