The process is the same, for the most part, for both blades and DL/ML servers.
For the EVA (which I think is the storage array your concerned about), you use Command View EVA on your SAN Appliance, or on a stand alone server to first define your hosts. Defining a host involves associating a WWID for a particular host with a logical name in Command View. The second part of this would be to create vdisks using Command View EVA. Once you have your vDisks, you can present them to the hosts all in Command View.
I am pretty sure there is a CV-EVA simulator and I thought it was on the public site, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.
