What stripe size to use for Raid6? P411 controller

We have a new DL360 G6 with a P411 controller. The server is running Windows 2008 R2.

Attached to it are two drive shelves full of 600GB SAS drives. We currently have about 6TB of user data on this server. There are millions of files on the server, ranging from small files (word/excel docs, etc) to large 5-10 GB SAS Datasets.

I plan to use one large 10-TB raid 6 volume. How big should the stripe size be? Thanks.

The Operating System is not on this P411 - it is running on internal disk with the integrated P410 controller.

Most f the array have its own default stripe size which works for most of the environment. But if you would like to alter/tune you should better know the workload or the IO size/pattern(random versus sequential; RD/WR ratio;IOPS etc) to determine the proper raid level(number of disks too) and the stripe size
