XP12000 LUNS resetting in Solaris10

Hi,

Today after presenting some LDEV' to a Solaris 10 host.Got errors in the messages file of the host.The LUN's are not accessible to the host.the error is as below

Are you using correct host group TYPE for these LUN presentation from XP? Check it under CommandView or RemoteWebConsole that the LUNs are presented under proper host TYPE.

Do you any other storage devices presented to this server? (because at the end error says "offline or reservation conflict".)

Hi,
Check that your LUN is available in the Server.
check the command:
#xpinfo -i

Hi Amardeep,

Yes there ia a Symmetrix connected to the server nut still it is on a different HBA.

xpinfo -i does not show any devices.

Resolved the issue by just disabling and enabling the SAN switch port to which the HBA's are connected.
