XP24K External Storage.

Hi,

Is it possible to map an EVA8400 CA source vDisk as an external device on XP24K?

I have a number of EVA vdisks which I want to externalise, all work ok except one. The only difference which I can see is that this particular Vdisk is a CA source disk while the others are not in a replication group.

My XP uCode is ver. 60-08-04 and my EVA vers. 10001000.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: XP24K External Storage.

Update:

I have removed this vDisk from the replication group and delete the target. This disk is now the same as the others but I still can't add it as an external storage volume.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

Re: XP24K External Storage.

What's the size of this disk? How much External Storage licensing do you have on the XP? Check and see how much is currently being used in the license area on the XP console.
